Instead of just posting a vote and getting it over with, im going to comment a bit on the answers to my questions:
The question for everyone: I was looking for an assessment of myself as a player and" threat" from the f3. Monica answered well, eliza wasn't awful, and Alexis was just... wow no. Everyone is a threat, Alexis. Everyone.
Question for Eliza: I know damn well she was running around like a chicken with her head cut off rallying the troops for the vote, and she had initially targetted Jane for the vote. It only ever changed to Fairplay because Jane found out it was her and reminded me that I owed her. I switched it to fairplay to save her, and she voted me out. Happy times!
Question for Alexis: this alliance was the stupidest damn thing I had ever heard in my life. How this was any kind of good plan was beyond me. I wanted to see her try to defend it or admit it was a terrible idea that she should be ashamed of.
Question for Monica: she got this completely wrong, but I can't not vote for her so whatever. The thing she did that soured me on ever voting for her was NOT breaking the" you have my back, I have yours" deal, it was making that deal and expecting me to ever believe or honor it. It was a horrible little agreement based on nothing but hoping I would roll with it should she finally lose a challenge. It was never substantial and the fact that she expected me to buy that it was was insulting. I am not an idiot. I know when a "deal" assumes my naivity and lack of intelligence. This deal was basically nothing but "I think you're dumb enough to keep me if I say we're watching out for each other, so i'll save voting you out for a bit later.
It was that kind of deal that she was constantly attempting to make that annoyed me, as well as GLARING holes in her justifications. Yes, tell me all about how much you like Failplay, because he is "active" and how you vote against all party lines to fight against the dreaded "inactivity" .... the ROUND AFTER YOU TRIED TO BOOT ME INSTEAD OF SOMEONE YOU ADMITTED WAS LIKELY GOING TO SELF VOTE.
I hated the idea of ever voting for Monica because she seemed to actually assume I wouldn't see a cheap lie or a raw deal when I saw one.
Bootlist:
Jonny: funny as hell, intelligent, charismatic, and a huge social and strategic threat. If he had made it to the end id have voted him to win in a heartbeat.
Marcus: a lot of people discounted Marcus, but he was always someone I liked and talked with, and he was more intelligent and aware of the going ons of the game than more people gave him credit for. If he and Fairplay had been together in the finals I would have had a tough choice
Tyrone: despite being utr, he made great moves when he needed to and was a great strategist who would have gone all the way if he hadn't gotten screwed by the people around him.
Jane: smart, very social, but someone I would have had trouble voting for at the end. I saved her from the vote, only to have her vote me out when the danger was off her. She was a great person, but I felt that she was making huge gameplay mistakes by accepting one of Monicas raw deals and expecting her to honor it.
Eliza: I don't have the same hatred for outcasts as everyone else, and while she was scattershot as hell and all over the place I knew how hard she was working and enjoyed talking to her. Shed have been higher had she not made a LOT of serious gameplay errors.
Alexis: its almost a tie for the bottom. Not very bright at all, and a poor player who does a lot of flipping and coattail riding. Would be in the second subbasement of my bootlist if it wasn't for Monica annoying me.
Monica: fairly intelligent player and very good at the social game... but as I already said, a lot of her deals and agreements were such obvious piles of bullshit that it was insulting to see her expect anyone to buy them.
